Love them because they Love you

Image
What comes to your mind when you see an animal? Are they some kind of material for your content or toys to experiment with or stressbusters while in stress? If yes, then something is wrong with you.   The world is at such a bad stage but despite being a better human, I see that humans are enjoying slaying animals without a purpose. Have you ever thought how painful it is for them? They can't speak, They can't express their pain, They can't express their sorrow. Their life is a constant struggle between life and death. They don't crave for luxuries like us, they simply crave for food, for love, and some care. And as humans, it's our responsibility to treat them with love and respect but instead, we find happiness in slaughtering them and abusing them. Please don't play with their lives.  Please don't be so brutal to them. It's okay if you can't treat them well, but at least don't treat them so horrib...

My hair transformation

Image
Hello lovelies and welcome back to my blog. I’ve been willing to share my hair journey for a very long period of time and here I am today talking about how I transformed my extremely damaged hair to not so damaged hair. As far as I remember, I always had dry and frizzy hair because I never really took care of it. For many years, I used the normal body soap to wash my hair and those days I used to wash my hair every single day. When I grew up, probably when I was in 8 th Grade, I realized that my hair was extremely damaged. Believe me, my hair kind of felt like a broom. It was hard, rough and it started curling up naturally. 2014 - When my hair was extremely damaged I honestly didn’t know what to do, so I went on YouTube to find out a solution. I came across many tips to get rid of the damaged hair. Tip number 1. Do not use body soap to wash your hair as it’s very harsh for your hair. Tip number 2 – Do not wash your hair every day. The natural oil that your scalp ...

I turned my Kurti into an Apron

Image
Welcome back, folks! Lately I tried making an Apron out of my old Kurti. To be honest, I did not watch any video. I was just cleaning my wardrobe and I got this very old Kurti which I used to wear back in College. Believe me, this Kurti is so old that some part of the fabric has merely faded. (Oh ya, I know this sounds crazy) I don't know how, but suddenly I felt the need for an Apron. I thought, why don't I give a try. Even if this doesn't work, it will still be alright since this is a very old Kurti which will eventually be thrown in the trash. I'm not a beginner. I took tailoring lessons when I was in school. I used to have a stitching machine as well but I don't have it right now. Anyway, I took the fabric, chopped the hands and divided into two pieces. Honestly, I almost forgot how an Apron looks like since I haven't had an Apron for years. I remember my mom used to have one when I was little and for some reasons...

I tried to bake a cake in a Pressure cooker

Image
Since I don't have an Oven or a Microwave, baking is not so easy for me. I saw this video on YouTube sometime back where this lady bakes a cake in a Pressure cooker. I thought of giving it a try since it was Easter and I wanted to bake.   As per the YouTube video, she takes All purpose flour, Oil and Milk to create a batter. Once the batter is made, she puts it in the pressure cooker and bakes it on a low flame for 35 mins. (to be precise) Once it's baked, she pours some vanilla on the cake and some crushed chocolate which makes it a Vanilla Chocolate cake. I'm certainly unfortunate because I didn't have the All-purpose flour, neither did I have any Chocolate or Vanilla and due to lock-down it's very difficult to buy any essentials as most of the grocery shops are running out of stock. So instead of All purpose flour, I took Wheat flour to make the batter. As I didn't have Vanilla or Chocolate, I knew my cake wouldn't be int...
